Sale will benefit Habitat for Humanity

From 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. on Friday and Saturday, The Habitat-Spokane Builders Surplus Store, 850 E. Trent Ave., will hold a surplus sale to celebrate its seventh anniversary.

During the sale, everything will be 25 percent off and a raffle for an entire computer system also will be held.

Proceeds from the surplus sale will benefit the efforts of Habitat for Humanity-Spokane to eliminate poverty.

NIC Wild Game Feast

On Saturday, The North Idaho College Alumni Association will host its eighth annual Wild Game Feast.

Held at the Coeur d’Alene Inn, 414 W. Appleway, Coeur d’Alene, the event will begin at 6 p.m., and dinner will be served at 6:45 p.m.

Also included in the evening’s festivities will be a silent auction with fine wines, a yacht cruise, gift baskets and other items.

Tickets are $55 per person. All proceeds will benefit the NIC Alumni Association and scholarships for NIC students.
