Walk for Recovery planned Saturday

Reaching Out – Advocating Recovery (ROAR), will present its kickoff and and Walk for Recovery on Saturday in the south shelter of Mission Park, 1200 E. Mission Ave.

The group hopes to raise awareness and understanding about addiction and has opportunities for those looking to recover.

The walk will begin with registration and warm-ups at 9 a.m. The walk begins at 10 a.m.

There will be testimonies at 11 a.m. and a free barbecue and concert at noon.
