Summer Meals Program – As part of a federally-funded child nutrition program, Spokane Public Schools will offer nutritious meals to all children 18 years of age and younger. Corbin Art Center Summer Classes – A variety of classes for all ages begin Monday and run through Sunday . Costs range from $23-$167. Sponsored by the City of Spokane Parks and Recreation Department. Pre-registration is required. Call 625-6200 to register.

Spokane Civic Theatre Summer Academy Camps – Various camps will be offered including elementary drama – acting and set making, musical theater, and performance camps for students entering grades 3-12. Meadowbrook Education Camps – Foundationally-based reading, math, and writing camps for school-aged children. July 9-August 31, 9 a.m.- 4:30 p.m. The cost is $250 per camp. For more information, call 443-1737.

Camp Dart-Lo Community Open Swim – Runs through August 31, Monday-Friday, 3-5 p.m. $3/single swim, $50 pass/25 swims. Youth under age 13 must be accompanied by an adult. For more information, call 747-6191 or visit www.dartlo.org.

Free USDA Approved Meals – For children 18 years of age and younger. Lunch will be served from 1-1:30 p.m. and snack will be served from 4:15-4:30 p.m. Monday-Friday, June 25-Aug. 17 at the Boys and Girls Club of Spokane County, 544 E. Camp Dart-Lo Swim Lessons – Learn to be safe, have fun and build skills. Presented by the American Red Cross. Monday/Wednesday and Tuesday/Thursday classes. New classes begin every three weeks. Times vary. Call 747-6191 for more information or visit www.dartlo.org.

Junior T’Ai Chi Chih – For ages 4-12. Parents are encouraged to participate. June 27-Aug. 1, 9:45-10:30 a.m. for ages 4-7 and 10:45-11:30 a.m. for ages 8-12. The cost is $5 per session or $20 for the series if paid in full. For more information, contact St. Joseph Family Center at 483-6495.

The Hitting Zone Baseball Academy – One-day camps for ages 6-8, 9 a.m.-1 p.m. North Side Camp, July 20 at Mt. Spokane High School, 6015 E. Girl Scout Program Center – Girls ages 5-17 are invited to use the arts and crafts room, computer lab and life skills center featuring a large kitchen, 1404 N. Ash St. A gymnasium, fitness room and rock climbing wall will also be available soon. Open weekdays from 9 a.m.-5:30 p.m. and Saturdays from 10 a.m.-4 p.m. The cost is $5 per girl for 30 days unlimited use of the center after an initial $10 registration fee.
