45-year-old missing since Thursday

Spokane Valley police are looking for a 45-year-old man who has been missing since Thursday. The man has not been taking his prescribed medication and has an undisclosed “mental condition” that puts him at risk.

Todd L. Blanchard left his assisted-living facility, Sunshine Gardens at 1102 S. Raymond St., on Thursday and has not been seen since.

According to a Spokane Valley police release on his disappearance, Blanchard may have been trying to walk to the Veterans Administration Hospital.

Blanchard was last seen wearing a fatigue jacket and jeans. He is 6 feet tall with a thin build and has green eyes and brown hair.

Police ask anyone who sees Blanchard to call 911.
