Rathdrum Days schedule

RATHDRUM – Rathdrum Days are Friday and Saturday. Activities will take place around town but will be concentrated on the grounds of Lakeland junior and senior high schools.

A National Guard unit will provide security. Crossing guards will direct traffic to ensure that pedestrians are safe while crossing the street between the schools.

Friday’s events

Noon: posting of the colors

12:15 p.m.: welcome from Mayor Brian Steele

2:30-3:30: Loftus Brothers, fiddlers

3:30-4: Ronald McDonald magic show

4:30-6:30: karaoke sing-off

7: music by Charlie Butts and the Filter Tips, rhythm and blues

Saturday’s activities:

8 a.m.: fun run

8: start of three-on-three basketball tourney

9:30: kiddie parade

10: main parade

10 a.m.-3 p.m.: classic car show

11:30: wiener dog races

Noon-12:30 p.m.: Ronald McDonald magic show

12:30: lawn-mower races

12:30-1:30: Susie’s tap and jazz dancers

1: McDonald’s Big Wheel race

2:30-3:30: watermelon-eating contest

4-5: Real Life Ministries band

6-6:30: winning karaoke singers

7: The Rhythm Method Band, classic rock
