Dirne Community Health Center Fundraiser – 1-4 p.m. at Harding Family Center, 411 N. 15th St. Family-oriented celebration including a bake sale, refreshments and live music by Arvid Lundin and Deep Roots (Dave Beach on guitar/mandolin, and Char Soucy with vocals and harp). Proceeds benefit the Dirne Community Health Center in Coeur d’Alene. Sponsored by North Idaho Unitarian Universalist church. Suggested donations, $7/adults, kids are free. (208) 765-0716.

Greyhound Annual Picnic – 11 a.m.-4 p.m. at Kootenai County Fairgrounds, 4056 N. Government Way. Hosted by the Greater Northwest Chapter of Greyhound Pets of America, with raffles, vendors and a barbecue. Retired racing greyhounds will be available for adoption. All greyhounds and owners are encouraged to attend, with games and a large fenced area for the dogs to run; please bring muzzles. $2/person, $5/family of five. (509) 448-5188.

PK Lions Veterans Memorial Wall Breakfast – 6-11 a.m. at the Pinehurst/Kingston Lions Building in Pinehurst. $4.50/adults, $4/seniors, $3.50/kids younger than 12, $14/family of two adults, two kids. Proceeds will help fund a veterans memorial wall in Kellogg. (208) 783-4031.

“Camp Allstars” Summer Specialized Needs Day Camp – Registering specialized-needs youth, ages 4-21, for camp to be held Monday through Aug. 10 , 9 a.m. to 3 p.m., at Fernan Elementary School, 520 N. 21st St. Free camp transportation provided from Trading Company store in Post Falls. $10/day, some scholarships available. Christian Youth Theater Summer Camp – Now registering ages 6-13 for weeklong camps: “Hats Off to Dr. Seuss,” July 9-13, and “Star-Spangled Kids,” July 16-20, 9 a.m.-5 p.m. daily, with a performance at the end of each camp on Friday at 3 p.m. Held at Coeur d’Alene High School, N. 5530 N.
