Kootenai County sheriff

Ralph Kramer, fire chief at Northern Lakes Fire Protection District, reported Monday $800 damage to a metal recycling unit at a recycling station at Hayden Meadows Elementary, 900 E. Hayden Ave.

Matthew Mayberry, co-owner of Advanced Technology Surveying and Engineering, reported Monday the $245,791 theft of cash from the business when unauthorized transactions were made on several of the business accounts over a period of three years.

Terry Stidman, Spirit Lake, reported Monday the $3,563 theft of scrap metal, an air compressor and two chain saws from his home on the 7000 block of W. Nash Road.

Debra Rentz, owner of Tobacco Hut, reported Friday $300 damage to a window of the business at 180 W. Hayden Avenue in Hayden.

Shane Myr, manager at Mountain View Cyclery, reported Friday $2,051 theft of five bikes, cash and sunglasses and $315 damage to a window and door of the business at 9521 N. Government Way.

Roy Watson, Rathdrum, reported Friday the $595 theft of three logging cables, steel blocks and steel cables from his home on the 6000 block of W. Sturgeon Road.

Melissa Groph, Spokane, reported Friday the $300 loss of a digital camera from a dock on Hauser Lake.

Nicholas Berger, Athol, reported Friday the $500 theft of a stereo faceplate from his 1997 Honda CRV parked at Silverwood, 27843 U.S. Highway 95 in Athol.

Victor Schmehl, Hayden, reported Sunday $800 damage to the windshield and four tires of a 1998 Dodge Neon parked at his home on the 10600 block of N. Maple Street.
