Women and Children’s Free Restaurant and Free Summer Picnic – Volunteers are needed to close the restaurant on Tuesday evenings. Duties include dishwashing, sweeping, mopping, and other closing procedures. Volunteers are also needed to set up tables, decorate, serve food and beverages, clean-up, entertain guests, and more at the restaurant’s Free Summer Picnic, 4-6 p.m. on July 17. Seventh Annual Huckleberry’s/KREM TV Donation Drive for Goodwill– Volunteers are needed to assist donors with their items and clothing between 9:30 a.m.-4:30 p.m., July 20-21 at Huckleberry’s Market, 926 S. Monroe St. Volunteers are requested to make a commitment of at least three hours. Contact Nichole Bogarosh at 344-1061.

AmeriCorps/VISTA – Develop marketing tools, update a database, create forms, develop a website, and help distribute information to the greater community. A living stipend and benefits will be provided. Volunteer qualifications should include a strong educational background in related field, preferably degreed. All ages are welcome to apply.
