Career event will be at SCC

High school students, parents, teachers, counselors and adults looking for a career boost can visit a Spokane Community College career open house at 6 p.m. March 20, in the Lair-Student Center, Building 6, 1810 N. Greene St.

The free event showcases career options in:

“Communications and records, including customer service representative, business and software applications, chiropractic assistant, front office professional, legal administration assistant, legal receptionist, medical office insurance clerk, medical office receptionist, medical office specialist, medical transportation, office assistant, office clerk and office information system; and

“Financial transactions, including accounting assistant, accounting clerk, financial services/teller and general business.

Visitors can meet instructors and other college staff, engage in hands-on demonstrations and view labs and classrooms. This is the third in a series of open houses, scheduled throughout the year, featuring different programs of study offered at SCC.
