LC girls post Washington 4A win

SEATTLE – The Lewis and Clark Tigers opened the girls Washington State 4A basketball tournament Wednesday morning by forcing 33 turnovers and breezing to a 59-36 win over Puyallup in the Tacoma Dome.

The defending champion Tigers (23-3) broke out to a 19-5 lead, stumbled before halftime then put the game away with a 16-5 run in the third quarter.
