Spend spring break biking in Utah

The Spokesman-Review

Community members are encouraged to spend this spring break mountain biking in scenic Utah during North Idaho College’s physical education course offered during NIC’s spring break March 31 through April 6.

Participants will learn about riding techniques, bike maintenance and desert ecology while mountain biking across Moab, Utah, which is considered one of the world’s most popular mountain biking areas.

Participants must have an approved mountain bike and helmet, and prior biking experience is mandatory.

Those interested in participating in the trip must sign up for the one-credit physical education course through NIC. Participants must pay the NIC course fee plus $250 to cover transportation, meals and lodging.

Call the NIC Registrar’s Office at 769-3320 to register or call NIC Outdoor Pursuits at 769-7809 for more information.
