Philanthropic group celebrates

Gamma Epsilon Spokane chapter recently celebrated its 50th anniversary with a dinner ceremony at the home of Annette Brooks, a founding member.

Members’ philanthropical work benefits St. Jude’s Children’s Research Hospital in Memphis, Tenn. The chapter also maintains a scholarship in Spokane for a “woman in transition” returning to college.

A recent radiothon with KDRK as host, netted $92,213 for St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital.
