Saturday

29th Annual St. Patrick’s Day Parade - Spokane - Presented by the Friendly Sons of St. Patrick and Second Harvest food bank. Second Harvest volunteers will be on hand both in the parade staging area and along the parade route to collect food and monetary donations. Registration for the parade can be completed online at www.friendlysonsofstpatrick.com or entry forms can be obtained by phone or via email at kim@mail.friendlysonsofstpatrick.com. Noon. Downtown Spokane. Viewing of parade is free; all noncommercial entries are free, commercial entries are $100. 880-2785.

Sacred Heart Women’s Show – Today and Sunday. Informative presentations and valuable information related to personal health and everything from golf to arts and crafts, beauty products to gifts and wine. Speaker topics include heart disease and personal identification theft. Guest speaker will be author and motivational speaker Dr. Judith Briles. The net proceeds of the show will assist in funding the new mammography mobile coach to serve communities throughout the region. Hours are Saturday, 10 a.m.-5 p.m., and Sunday, 11 a.m.-5 p.m. Spokane Convention Center, 334 W. Spokane Falls Blvd. $5/general, free for children age 12 and younger. 325- SEAT.

“My School Musical” - Presented by HYPER-Formance Jazz Dance Club, a group of about 65 local youths and guest artists from South Hill Kiwanis, Lewis and Clark High School Key Club, and an International Languages group; the youths wrote the story themselves. Riverfront Park Pavilion Attractions - The Looff Carrousel and Spokane Falls Skyride operate daily, 11 a.m.-5 p.m. Hours will be extended later in the season. Runs through Sept. 3. Riverfront Park. Carrousel: $2/adults, $1/seniors, military and ages 12 and younger. Skyride: $7/adults, $5/ages 13-17, seniors and military, $4/ages 3-12, free/younger than 3.
