In brief: Miller wins World Cup super-G championship

The Spokesman-Review

American Bode Miller, 29, clinched his second World Cup super-G title Thursday in Lenzerheide, Switzerland, with a fourth-place finish in the event’s season finale. It is his sole piece of hardware from a trying season.

“Anja Paerson of Sweden won the final super-G of the season at Lenzerheide, Switzerland, and Marlies Schild finished third to consolidate her lead atop the overall standings.
