Paris and Nicole are headed to camp this summer.

“The Simple Life Goes to Camp,” coming in May on E!, has on-again pals Paris Hilton and Nicole Richie working as counselors at Camp Shawnee in the mountains near Los Angeles.

The camp will be host to five different specialty groups: Wellness Camp, Pageant Camp, Couples Camp, Survival Camp and Drama Camp.

Hilton, 26, and Richie, 25, will be expected to eat, sleep and keep the same schedule as the campers in the latest installment of their reality TV series, which shows the often-clueless celebutantes thrown into everyday situations.

“Paris and Nicole will be advising and training girls and their moms for beauty pageants, or providing therapy for couples seeking to strengthen their relationships,” a network spokeswoman said.

By the way, Richie, who has had trouble maintaining her weight, has been diagnosed with hypoglycemia, or low blood sugar.

Foul screenplay

The Los Angeles City Attorney’s Office is expected to file misdemeanor theft charges against a group of airport screeners suspected of stealing personal items from Paris Hilton.

Singer Keyshia Cole is also among the alleged victims. Pilfered items include cartons of cigarettes, watches and jewelry.

The heart is a lonely hunter

Regis Philbin called “Live With Regis and Kelly” on Friday to report that he’s in pain – particularly when he sneezes – but otherwise doing well after his heart bypass surgery.

Philbin, 75, added that painkillers have kept him up at night, causing him to “wander around the house” and say some strange things:

“Last night I was yelling – I’m a little embarrassed to tell you this – but I was yelling, ‘I haven’t had sex in 3 1/2 months!’ “

H-h-his regeneration

The Who resumed its North American tour on Thursday night in North Little Rock, Ark, after lead singer Roger Daltrey returned from a near-weeklong bout with bronchitis.

The band canceled a show Tuesday in San Antonio and previously postponed appearances in Mexico City and Tampa, Fla.

On the ‘SexyBack’ burner

A planned resolution honoring native son Justin Timberlake has hit a snag in the Tennessee Legislature.

Republican senators are leery of Timberlake’s latest, “FutureSex/LoveSounds,” with its hit “SexyBack,” and his involvement in Janet Jackson‘s infamous “wardrobe malfunction” at the 2004 Super Bowl.

Well, it was overstuffed

Representatives of Marlon Brando’s estate are suing two Southern California furniture companies and a retailer over the sale of a home theater chair called “The Brando.”

No decision has been made yet on what to rename the chair, a store spokesman said.
