Phillies 6, Braves 4: At Atlanta, Cole Hamels bounced back from a rough start to pitch into the eighth inning and Philadelphia beat the Braves for the first time in five meetings this season.

Marlins 5, Mets 2: At New York, Josh Willingham drove in a career-high five runs and Florida made three great defensive plays to stifle the Mets.

Reds 11, Astros 2: At Houston, Bronson Arroyo got his first win of the season and Adam Dunn hit a three-run homer to help Cincinnati hand the Astros their ninth loss in the last 10 games.

Brewers 12, Cardinals 2: At Milwaukee, J.J. Hardy tied a career high with four hits, Tony Graffanino hit a three-run homer to cap a seven-run sixth inning and the Brewers roughed up St. Louis.

Cubs 6, Pirates 5 (7, susp., rain): At Pittsburgh, Cliff Floyd had a two-run homer in the seventh inning that left Chicago leading the Pirates when the game was suspended because of rain. It will be finished today before the teams play their regularly scheduled game.

Padres 3, Nationals 0: At San Diego, rookie Kevin Kouzmanoff tripled home a run and Chris Young and Trevor Hoffman combined on a three-hitter as the Padres beat Washington.

Dodgers 2, Diamondbacks 1: At Los Angeles, Olmedo Saenz drove in the winning run with a two-out pinch-hit single in the bottom of the ninth as the Dodgers edged Arizona.

Rockies 9, Giants 7: At San Francisco, Matt Holiday homered and drove in four runs to lead Colorado past the Giants.
