Slideluck Potshow – Artists are invited to submit slides of their art to be included in a series of slideshow presentations at an event hosted by the Institute for Extended Learning. Spokane Park’n Swap – Artists and crafters are needed for the flea and farmer’s market set to begin May 19 and 20 at the old Newport Cinemas at Highway 2 and Hawthorne Road. Post Falls Library poster contest – Students age 11-18 are invited to participate in the contest to create a poster around the theme “Get a Clue @ Your Library.” The work can be drawn, painted or collage. Posters should be at least 11 by 14 inches but no larger than a full sheet of poster board. Winners will receive cash prizes. The deadline is May 26. Entry forms are available at the library, 821 N. First Night Spokane – The annual New Year’s Eve celebration is looking for performers and visual artists for more than 40 locations in downtown Spokane.
