More arrests made in March shooting; one suspect still sought

From Staff Reports The Spokesman-Review

More arrests have been made in connection with a March gun battle near the Big Dipper on Second and Washington after one suspect admitted to the crimes in a rap on his MySpace.com page, police said. But authorities are still looking for one suspect.

Rashjel Cage, 21, and Rakee Cage, 20, face assault and riot charges for a gunfight that erupted after a party at the Big Dipper on March 16, according to court documents filed Wednesday. Nobody was injured.

Rashjel Cage later recorded a song and posted it on MySpace.com, in which the man claimed responsibility for the shooting, documents said. Cage also allegedly wrote that he had helped organize the fight.

In the court documents, investigators said the two men are involved in the Murder One Crip gang and the shootings involved several suspects. Three others have been booked into jail on charges related to the shootings.

However, police are still looking for Trammell D. Armstrong, 17, who is wanted on charges of drive-by shooting, third-degree assault and harassment.

Armstrong is 5 feet 8 inches tall and 155 pounds with black hair and brown eyes, and he is likely armed and dangerous, police said.

Tipsters are asked to call (509) 327-5111.
