Donations for shredding will aid Groene Trust
On Tuesday, Devries Mobile Shredding is offering free document shredding for donations to benefit Windermere Foundation’s Shasta Groene Trust.
The shredding will take place in the parking lot of Windermere Realty, 1000 Northwest Blvd., Coeur d’Alene, from 8 a.m. to 3 p.m.

Heroes on the Runway
Local firefighters and Red Cross members will join together on Wednesday – on the catwalk.
The Heroes on the Runway fashion show will be at Northern Quest Casino, 100 N. Hayford Road, from 5:30 to 8:30 p.m.
The evening includes dinner and a silent auction and clothing from Talbot’s and Mountain Gear will be featured.
Tickets are $35 per person and proceeds benefit disaster services for the American Red Cross.

Garden Fair
Visit Camyn’s Greenhouse, 4317 S. Garfield St., on Thursday from 9 a.m.-6 p.m. for the Garden Fair to benefit the Lilac Blind Foundation.
The Lilac Blind Foundation provides aid and education for the blind and partially sighted.

Operation Spokane Heroes
From 7 to 11 a.m. on Saturday, the Washington Army National Guard, 1626 N. Rebecca St., is hosting a pancake breakfast to benefit Operation Spokane Heroes.
The cost is $5 in advance or $7 at the door.
Operation Spokane Heroes is designed to show community support to military families, including developing morale-boosting activities and encouraging businesses to offer discounted goods and services.

Pancake breakfast for United Way
The annual pancake breakfast to benefit United Way will be at Center Pointe, 1408 N. Washington St., on Saturday.
Breakfast will be from 9 a.m. to noon and includes pancakes, eggs, and ham.
A craft fair is scheduled from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m.
Cost is $5 for adults and $4 for children and seniors.
