Acclaimed U.K. chef Gordon Ramsay does a regular BBC-TV cooking show called Gordon Ramsay’s Fast Foods. It’s kind of like the U.K. version of Rachael Ray’s “30 Minute Meals.” But better.

The video podcasts are very smartly done, with strong production quality and plenty of close-ups to show the viewer exactly the steps Ramsay follows as he prepares one of his quick dishes.

Fast foods in this case have nothing to do with burgers or cheese dip. His recipes are interesting, modest main dishes such as linguine with tomatoes and capers, pappardelle and sticky lemon chicken.

Another nice benefit is the BBC’s optional one-page PDF document download of the full ingredient list and directions. After watching the podcast you can carry the list to the store and buy what you need.

Production quality: very good.

Host quality: smart and helpful.
