There were four area women in the Western Washington varsity eight that won a third consecutive NCAA Division II rowing championship Sunday. Two not mentioned in Monday’s paper are Samantha Marikis of Republic and Lila Scaife, a transfer from Big Bend Community College in Moses Lake.
