Spokane Ag Expo Photography Contest – Photographers are invited to submit photos depicting “Agriculture in the Inland Northwest.” The photos will be displayed at the Spokane Ag Expo set for Feb. 5-7. Photographers may submit color or black-and-white prints between 8-by-10 and 11-by-14 inches. Photographs should not be framed but may be mounted on cardboard or matting. Colfax Arts Council – Artists are needed for a juried competition to select 10 original paintings to be hung in Colfax as lamppost banners. Artists must submit a 7 ½- by 15-inch painting or a design on 11- by 17-inch paper or other medium by Nov. 15. The fee is $10 for youth and $15 for adults 19 and older.
