Dick and Jeanne Ahrens celebrated their 60th wedding anniversary with a family dinner at the Lake Coeur d’Alene summer home of their daughter and son-in-law, Leslie and Andy Smythe, Spokane, on July 7.

Other hosts for the event included their daughter Julie Muhlstein, Everett, and their son Bill Ahrens, Boise.

The couple were married May 3, 1947, in Moscow, Idaho. They have six grandchildren.
