Gonzaga University (9-3-4, 4-1-4) and Saint Mary’s College (6-7-2, 2-5-2) played to a scoreless tie at Martin Field, but the one point the Bulldogs picked up in the standings enabled them to move into a tie with idle San Diego for second place in the West Coast Conference standings.

San Diego had fallen out of first place with a 2-1 loss to now-league leading Santa Clara on Friday.
