Scouts collecting food donations

Scouts from across Eastern Washington and North Idaho will be collecting food donations door to door Saturday to benefit Second Harvest’s emergency food network and community food banks.

Supporters of the drive are asked to place donations containing nonperishable food items outside their front door by 9 a.m.

The annual Scouting for Food activity is sponsored by the Inland Northwest Council of the Boy Scouts of America and Rosauers Supermarkets. Those wishing to support the food drive but miss the Scouts collecting bags are encouraged to drop off donations at any Rosauers.
