Kevin Love had 22 points and 13 rebounds in his college debut, helping No. 2 UCLA dominate Portland State 69-48 Friday night in Los Angeles.

The 6-foot-10, 270-pound freshman finished 6 of 8 from the field, 9 of 11 from the line, had three assists and no fouls.

Josh Shipp added 18 points for the Bruins.

(4) Kansas 107, Louisiana-Monroe 78: At Lawrence, Kan., Sherron Collins scored 22 points and the Jayhawks swamped the Warhawks.

(7) Tennessee 80, Temple 63: At Knoxville, Tenn., JuJuan Smith scored 15 points as the Volunteers beat the Owls.

(13) Duke 121, N.C. Central 56: At Durham, N.C., Taylor King scored 20 points to lead the Blue Devils past the Eagles.

(16) Texas A&M 73, McNeese State 50: At College Station, Texas, freshman DeAndre Jordan scored 12 points to lead the Aggies to a victory over the Cowboys.

(19) Arkansas 67, Wofford 45: At Fayetteville, Ark., Patrick Beverley made two 3-pointers in the second half that helped the Razorbacks defeat the Terriers.

(22) Pittsburgh 103, Houston Baptist 62: At Pittsburgh, Sam Young finished with 22 points to lead the Panthers past the Huskies.

(23) Stanford 111, Harvard 56: At Stanford, Calif., Drew Shiller scored 18 points and the Cardinal beat the Crimson.

(25) Kansas State 94, Sacramento State 63: At Manhattan, Kan., freshman Michael Beasley had 32 points and 24 rebounds, leading the Wildcats to a win over the Hornets.

Women

(4) Maryland 76, Princeton 52: At College Park, Md., Kristi Toliver had 16 points as the Terrapins beat the Tigers.

(5) LSU 86, Samford 38: At Baton Rouge, La., Quianna Chaney scored 25 points and the Tigers beat the Bulldogs.

(7) Stanford 100, Yale 44: At New Haven, Conn., Jayne Appel scored 20 points to help the Cardinal rout the Bulldogs.

(8) North Carolina 109, N.C. Central 32: At Chapel Hill, N.C., Rashanda McCants scored 17 points as the Tar Heels beat the Lady Eagles.

(9) Georgia 81, Richmond 53: At Athens, Ga., Ashley Houts scored 17 points to lead the Bulldogs past the Spiders.
