Blessed Sacrament Catholic Church in Seattle was the setting for the April 21 wedding of Kristen Petersen and John Prata.

The bride is the daughter of William and Carol Petersen, Spokane. The groom is the son of Tom and Rosemarie Prata, Bothell, Wash.

A reception was held at the Burke Museum in Seattle. The couple are living in Everett after a honeymoon in Banff National Park.

The bride, a graduate of the University of Montana, is the director of communications at Smead Capital Management in Seattle. The groom is a carpenter foreman in Seattle.
