“This year’s interfaith Thanksgiving service will be hosted by the Episcopal Cathedral of St. John the Evangelist at 10 a.m. Thursday. The service will include performances by the Pilgrim Slavic Baptist Church Men’s Choir and speakers from the Second Harvest food bank and the Healing Lodge of the Seven Nations. There will be blessings for several faiths, including Hindu, Buddhism, Judaism, Baptist, Catholic, Islam and Baha’i.
All are welcome to attend. The service is sponsored by the Interfaith Council of the Inland Northwest and Second Harvest. The Cathedral is at 127 E. 12th Ave.

The Center for Spiritual Living in Coeur d’Alene will offer a free Thanksgiving dinner noon to 2 p.m. Thursday at Lake City Senior Center, 1916 Lakewood Drive, Coeur d’Alene. The organization will be working with Meals on Wheels to deliver meals to those who are homebound and will offer transportation to those who need it. St. Andrew’s Episcopal Church will hold its annual auction fundraiser today from 3 to 6 p.m. at the church, 2404 N. Howard St. Admission is free, and refreshments will be served.
The annual Community Classical Christmas Concert featuring the Community Holiday Choir and the Fort Sherman Symphonette will be at 7 p.m. next Saturday at the North Idaho College Schuler Performing Arts Center in Coeur d’alene. The concert will feature Handel’s “Messiah.” The performance is sponsored by the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints and the Fort Sherman Historical Society.
