Free fun at the Fox

If you were unable to get tickets to tonight’s Grand Opening Gala at the Fox Theater, fear not. You’ll get a chance to enjoy the newly refurbished theater – for free – on Sunday.

From noon to 8 p.m., the Fox, at 1001 W. Sprague Ave. in downtown Spokane, will host an open house, featuring a continuous lineup of regional entertainers.

Below is a schedule of performers. Performances are on the main auditorium stage unless otherwise indicated.

Noon: Christian Slavic Brass Band (lobby)

Noon: Native American Blessing and Dance by Kalispel Tribe

12:30 p.m. City-wide Dance Collaboration, directed by Peggy Goodner-Tan

1:15 p.m.: Celtic Nots (lobby)

2 p.m.: Six Foot Swing

2:30 p.m.: Blue Door Theater Improv Musical (lobby)

3 p.m.: City-wide Theater Collaboration, directed by Juan Maas and Nike Imoru

3:45 p.m.: Big Red Barn Bluegrass (lobby)

4:30 p.m.: Spokane Youth Symphony and Spokane Area Children’s Chorus

5:15 p.m.: University High Lirico Chamber Singers (lobby)

5:45 p.m.: Spokane Opera

6:15 p.m.: Youth Chamber Ensemble (lobby)

7 p.m.: Spokane Symphony Orchestra, conducted by Morihiko Nakahara
