Religion notebook: Christmas program for kids Dec. 1

For holiday shoppers looking for an opportunity to shop without little eyes watching what you are buying, St. Matthew Lutheran Church and School, 6905 N. Country Homes Blvd., is offering a free Christmas for Kids program Dec. 1 from 9:30 a.m. to 3 p.m.

The day will include fun for kids age 3 through the sixth grade such as crafts, games, stories and singing.

The deadline to register is Wednesday, and parents can register their children from 1 to 4 p.m. by calling Iris at 328-6844 or Margot at 995-5004 from 4 to 6 p.m.

Spiritual cinema

The Unity Church of Truth, 2900 S. Bernard St., will offer Spiritual Cinema Wednesday at 7 p.m.

The movie is “Snow Walker,” which is set in the Arctic Circle and is based on the story “Walk Well by Brother” by Farley Mowat.

Admission is by donation.
