Gonzaga ‘sold out’

The Spokesman-Review

Well, Gonzaga basketball has finally joined the ranks of collegiate sports programs that disregard integrity and honor for the almighty “win at all cost.”

Its decision to reinstate Josh Heytvelt and Theo Davis is a low blow to the basketball program.

I always felt Gonzaga separated itself from the mainstream, questionable-character teams and that its ethical reputation meant something to it. Needless to say, I was wrong. It’s sad to see that Gonzaga would sell itself out. I guess money talks.
