War spying. (n.)

War spying is the video version of wardriving. Wardriving is searching for available wireless network signals with the possible goal of using that Wi-Fi connection. It’s usually done while driving by in a vehicle.

War spying is the search for unencrypted wireless signals being transmitted from video cameras to nearby receivers or recorders. With basic hardware components, war spies can view those video camera feeds and record them. Security specialists say the chief risk is opening an office’s physical location to examination by spies; no data breach can be done through war spying.
