The following Halloween and fall festival events are happening in North Idaho.

Today

Post Falls Lions Club Haunted House – 6 p.m.-midnight today-Saturday and 6-10 p.m. Sunday-Halloween at Fourth Avenue and Post Street, Post Falls. $6 admission. (208) 660-8936.

Christian Center School’s 27th Annual Fall Festival – Dinner at 6 p.m., game and food booths open at 7 p.m. at the school at Prairie Avenue Christian Center, 3639 W. Prairie Ave. Includes silent auction, prizes, cake walk, games and dinner. (208) 772-7541.

Harry Potter Party at Post Falls Library – For ages 8 and up, 6:30-8:30 p.m. at the library, 821 N. Spokane St. Includes prizes, treats and games. Registration required. (208) 773-1506, Ext. 27.

Halloween Happy House – For kids ages 1-10 with an adult chaperone, 5-8 p.m. at Unity Center, 4465 N. 15th St. Costume contest at 7 p.m. with prizes to be awarded for scariest, most original, cutest, most in character, funniest, most angelic, most monstrous and best superhero costumes. Rathdrum Lions Haunted House – 6 p.m.-midnight today-Saturday at Rathdrum Lion’s Club, 16114 N. Meyer Road. $5 admission. Proceeds benefit Special Olympics. (208) 772-9881.

The Amaizing Corn Maze – 10 a.m.-11 p.m. today-Saturday and noon-5 p.m. Sunday, on Beck Road just off Highway 53 in Hauser. More than 12.5 acres with three mazes and a haunted path. No pets, purses or backpacks. Haunted maze available. $8 for adults, $5 for ages 5-12 and seniors 60 and older, free for ages 4 and younger; group rates available for 30 or more and school groups. D4 Masquerade Ball: Dining, Dancing, Destinations and Diamonds – 5:30 p.m. Saturday at Greyhound Park and Event Center in Post Falls. Includes wine tasting, live auction with travel destination packages, sporting event tickets, raffle for a handcrafted diamond pendant, and live music by the Rhythm Dawgs. Lakes Fall Festival – 5:30-9 p.m. Saturday at Lakes Middle School, 930 N. 15th St. Pizza and salad dinner, $3 for adults, $2 for kids, games are 50 cents to $1. (208) 667-4544.

Halloween Spooktacular Event at Priest Lake – 6:30-8:30 p.m. Saturday at Priest Lake State Park near Coolin. Includes pumpkin-carving contest, costume parade with prizes, games and the annual Spooky Trail. $4 parking. (208) 443-2200.

Howling Casino Night – 5:30-11 p.m. Saturday at the Eagles Building in Wallace. Includes casino gambling, live and silent auction, live music and costume contest. Schweitzer Halloween Party and Costume Contest – 8 p.m. Saturday at Schweitzer Mountain Resort in Sandpoint. North Country Chapel’s Harvest Festival –Halloween, 4-8 p.m. at Kootenai County Fairgrounds, 4056 N. Government Way. Includes games, prizes, puppet shows, horse-drawn carriage rides and candy for the kids. Costumes are optional. (208) 773-7100.
