The forum is designed to recognize examples of educators who collaborate and share expertise in teaching.

The group is one of 20 from across the country which have been selected to attend the forum which will be held Sept. 27 and 28 in Redmond, Wash.

New busing information

Spokane Public Schools has re-drawn its boundaries and eliminated several bus routes.

To find out your child’s bus stop, call transportation liaison Rhonda McLellan at 354-7388, or Laidlaw at 353-3761.

SPS has issued some important tips regarding busing.

Students should get to their bus stop five minutes before the bus is scheduled to arrive. They should be respectful of other people’s property while waiting for the bus. The buses can drop off early, since drop-off times are approximate, but they will never pick up students early. Parents and students should always have a back-up plan if the students miss their bus.
