People: ‘High School’ loses some class
Vanessa Hudgens‘ publicist has confirmed that a nude photo circulating on the Internet is indeed the 18-year-old star of Disney Channel’s wildly popular “High School Musical” movies.
“This was a photo which was taken privately,” Jill Fritzo said on Friday. “It is a personal matter and it is unfortunate that this has become public.”
The photo shows Hudgens standing naked in what appears to be a bathroom, with a red shower curtain behind her.
The Disney Channel denied a published report that Hudgens will be dropped from the upcoming feature film “High School Musical 3.” The project is in development and negotiations with the stars are incomplete.
Hudgens portrayed Gabriella, the brainy love interest of Zac Efron‘s basketball star, in the first two “High School Musical” made-for-cable movies.
The two are said to be dating in real life.
“High School Musical 2” attracted more than 17 million viewers for its Disney Channel premiere last month, making it the most-watched television program of the summer.

Paris Hilton is preparing to bear children, according a report in the new Elle magazine.
“I just started working out and it feels great,” the “Simple Life” star tells novelist Jackie Collins. “I want kids next year, so I’ve got to get my body ready.
“I wanna have, like, a family and a guy.”
From bridal to unbridled
The British tabloids say Paris Hilton is negotiating to follow her real-life jail sentence by playing an inmate in a West End production of “Prisoner Cell Block H: The Musical.”
Based on an Aussie TV show, the musical will reportedly feature her in a “lesbian romp.”
And “Harry Potter” star Daniel Radcliffe is about to expand his theatrical career, taking his portrayal of a deranged stable hand in “Equus” – nudity and all – from the London stage to Broadway next year.
Make mine a double
MTV is planning a bisexual dating show featuring a woman who gained fame on MySpace.
“A Shot at Love With Tila Tequila,” in which 16 men and 16 women will compete for Tequila’s affections, is set to debut Oct. 9.
Time magazine describes the singer/model/actress/blogger (born Tila Nguyen) as “the Madonna of MySpace.”
