Hanna Johnson had eight kills and 10 digs and Natalie Stewart dished out a match-high 27 assists as the Coeur d’Alene volleyball team beat host Moscow 25-23, 25-15, 25-21 Tuesday in the Inland Empire League.

Lindsey Ritzheimer added 10 digs and Maggie Reno had four aces for the Vikings (4-1).

Morgan Spear lead the Bears (1-2) with a match-high nine kills.

In other Inland Empire League action, Sandpoint beat visiting Post Falls 25-15, 25-16, 25-12. Piper Wahlin had seven kills and Koko James handed out a match-high 12 assists to lead the Bulldogs (5-0). Jalana White had nine assists and four blocks to lead the Trojans (0-4).

Marissa Bush had a match-high nine kills and 18 digs, leading Kellogg to a 25-9, 23-25, 25-20, 25-6 Intermountain League win over Timberlake at Spirit Lake. Stephanie Squires added 21 kills and five aces for the Wildcats (2-1). The Tigers (0-3) were led by Megan Williams, who had a team-high eight kills.

Hannah Nyrop had a match-high 20 kills and Kami Haynes had six aces as Kootenai (3-0) topped host Lakeside 25-13, 22-25, 25-18, 8-25, 15-10 in North Star League action in Plummer.

Ruth Brunelle had 12 kills and Rian Miller had four kills to lead the Knights (2-1).

In other North Star League play, Chelsea Macumber had a match-high 11 aces and six kills as Clark Fork defeated visiting Mullan 22-25, 21-25, 26-24, 25-18, 15-9. The Wampus Cats (1-1) had 34 total aces. Fawn Story led the Tigers (0-3) with a team-high five kills, two aces and three blocks. … Myranda Wheeler had eight aces and Rayann Erickson added nine kills as Wallace beat host Coeur d’Alene Charter 25-21, 25-20, 21-25, 14-25, 15-12. Sydney Stein handed out 11 assists and Kristin Hartmann had a match-high 17 digs for the Miners (3-0). Katie Baker led the Panthers (0-3) with a match-high 10 aces and 17 kills.

Boys soccer

Andy Perez had a hat trick and Kyle Hoffman added two goals to give Lewiston their first victory of the season, a 6-0 shutout of Lakeland (0-8-1, 0-6-1) in Inland Empire League play in Rathdrum. Eric Rice also added a goal for the Bengals (1-8, 1-5), who held a 15-10 advantage in shots.

Girls soccer

Jamie Gates scored two goals to lead Lewiston to a 6-1 win over visiting Lakeland (2-8-1, 1-6-1) in the Inland Empire League. The Bengals (5-4, 3-4) led 4-1 at the half.

“Pullman made all five of their shots in the shootout and beat visiting Cheney 2-1 to take over sole possession of first place in the Great Northern League. Haley Snodgrass, Anna Albrecht, Kendra Heim, Amy Sterk and Niina Al-Hassan all scored in the shootout for the Greyhounds (5-1, 4-0). Danielle Raczykowski put the Blackhawks (4-2, 3-1) ahead 1-0 with a goal in the 33rd minute. Pullman’s Cory Druffel scored off an assist from Vivianna Barona in the 39th minute to notch the game at one.

Elsewhere in the GNL, Jacey Fitzpatrick had a goal and an assist as Lakeside blanked Clarkston (0-5, 0-4) in Nine Mile Falls. Moriah Beeler opened the scoring with a goal off an assist from Callie Paul in the fourth minute.
