The Japanese Gardens at Manito Park were the setting for the July 7 wedding of Ashley Nave and Kenworth Sterkel.

The bride is the daughter of Kevin and Molly Nave, and Melissa and Xay Phothivongas, all of Nine Mile Falls. The groom is the son of Larry and Diana Sterkel, Nine Mile Falls.

A reception was held at Franklin Park in North Spokane. The couple are living in Tualatin after a honeymoon in Cannon Beach, Ore.

The bride is a bank teller at Banner Bank. The groom is employed at Lowe’s Home Improvement.
