Saturday’s results

Montana State 40, Idaho State 20: Jack Rolovich passed for 282 yards and two third-quarter touchdowns and Kevin Retoriano returned an interception 82 yards for a score as the Bobcats rallied for a victory over the Bengals in Bozeman, Mont.

Demetrius Crawford had 23 carries for 173 yards and a fourth-quarter TD for Montana State, ranked 18th in The Sports Network FCS poll.

Montana 18, Weber State 10: Dan Carpenter kicked four field goals and the Wildcats self-destructed on their final drive as the top-ranked Grizzlies held on for a win in Missoula.

Weber State took a 10-0 lead just 6 seconds into the second quarter on a 30-yard field goal by Conor Foley.

The Wildcats held Montana to field goals of 47, 40 and 29 yards by Carpenter in the second and third quarters as the Grizzlies pulled to 10-9 with 5:29 left in the third.

Greg Coleman gave Montana a 15-10 lead on a 1-yard scoring run with 2:23 left in the third quarter.

Sacramento State 38, Northern Arizona 9: Freshman quarterback Jason Smith threw for 233 yards, tossed two touchdown passes and ran two yards for another score to lead the Hornets over the Lumberjacks in Sacramento, Calif.

Marshall Sperbeck earned his first career win as Sac State’s head coach.

Cal Poly 56, Northern Colorado 21: Quarterback Jonathan Dally rushed for four touchdowns as the Mustangs beat the Bears in San Luis Obispo, Calif.
