Community Update: Mobius Kids hosting Mixing

Mobius Kids, in the lower level of River Park Square, is hosting its annual Mixing at Mobius and giving the grown-ups a chance to share in the fun on Friday.

From 6 to 9 p.m., martinis and hors d’oeuvres will be served, while the Nick Herman Trio will perform. A silent auction also will be held.

Tickets are $40 per person. All proceeds benefit Mobius Kids.

Free Restaurant Benefit

On Saturday the second annual “A Little Night Music” is being held at the Providence Auditorium at Sacred Heart Medical Center, to benefit The Women’s and Children’s Free Restaurant.

Four of Spokane’s most accomplished chefs will prepare hors d’oeuvres, served with fine wines and live music by Emerson from 5:30 to 9:30 p.m. An auction will be held during dessert later in the evening.

Autism Fundraiser

Join Breanna Abell on Saturday at Ionic Burrito, from 7 to 9 p.m., 1415 N. Hamilton St., for her second annual Autism Awareness Fundraiser.

CDs will be available for a $5 donation and $1 from every burrito, quesadilla and salad sold will be donated to the Northwest Autism center in Spokane.

Memory Walk

The Alzheimer’s Association Inland Northwest Chapter’s Memory Walk will be held on Saturday at Mirabeau Point Park at 10 a.m.

The walk is three miles along the Centennial Trail. Lunch will be provided for participants.

There is no charge for participating, but donations are appreciated.
