The Art of Rustic Furniture Making - April 18 - 19. Explore with Harry Felton from Lewistown, Mont., the history and design of handmade furniture on Friday, 6-8 p.m. On Saturday, 9 a.m.-5 p.m., they will learn traditional hand tool functions and gain skill in their use, learn basic wood joinery with regard to function and design then practice making the joints. Music in Historic Homes - Allegro presents “Music in Historic Homes” as a glimpse into the past. The events take place in historic homes from Spokane’s early days. Sittings at 3:00, 4:30, 6:00, and 7:30 p.m. Each sitting includes a 40-minute concert followed by a tour of the home with information about its history. Washington State Quilters - Featured speaker is Linda Ballard from Pal Cedro, Calif.
