Spokane County

Tuesday – Televised community forum sponsored by KSPS Spokane Public Television and The Spokesman-Review. The public is invited to attend as part of a live studio audience. Reservations required by calling (509) 354-7800 or e-mail ourkids@ksps.org.

Thursday– Special luncheon with Dr. Robert Anda, “Connecting the Dots,” 11:30 a.m.-1:30 p.m., Spokane Convention Center, Ballroom 100 A. Register online at unitedwayspokane.org, or call (509) 838-6581.

Thursday – “Darkness to Light: Stewards of Children Training,” 9 a.m.-noon, Deaconess Health and Education Center, Room 266. For information call Partners with Families and Children, (509) 473-4810.

Kootenai County

Monday – ADD/ADHD Parent Support Group, 6:30-7:30 p.m., Rathdrum Counseling Center, 14954 Coeur d’Alene St., Rathdrum. For information, call ICARE Inc. at (208) 676-1515.

Wednesday – Kootenai Medical Center will plant 1,700 pinwheels to represent the number of children born last year.

Wednesday – Child Sexual Abuse Prevention Training, “Stewards of Children,” 5-8 p.m., Borah Elementary School, 632 W. Borah Ave., Coeur d’Alene. For registration, call (208) 676-1515.

Thursday – Post Falls Family Celebration, 5:30-7:30 p.m., Head Start, (208) 773-6164.

Friday – “Noche de Fiesta” Latino Outreach Project, 6-11 p.m., Harding Family Center, (208) 769-1515.

Friday – Celebration for alumni of Idaho’s foster-care system, 5:30-9 p.m., Shilo Inn Suites, 702 W. Appleway, Coeur d’Alene.
