Art Events coming up

Great Spokane Art Party: Blue Prints for Learning, which runs the Child Care Training Institute and the Community Building Children’s Center, has teamed up with local artists to host an evening of hands-on art for adults. The Great Spokane Art Party fundraiser will be held from 7 to 10 p.m. Saturday at the Community Building, 35 W. Main Street. Tickets are $50 and include wine and hors d’oeuvres. “Image of the Child Photo Exhibit”: A photography project by the preschoolers of the North Idaho College Children’s Center will be displayed through Saturday at the Coeur d’Alene Public Library. The 58-photograph exhibit includes explanations of how each child decided upon each image featured. The exhibit will be displayed at the children’s center on the NIC campus next week and then at Frame of Mind Gallery in downtown Coeur d’Alene from mid-May to mid-June.
