Geoff Davis hit a three-run home run Thursday as host Central Valley (9-7) held on to beat Ferris 11-9 in Greater Spokane League baseball.

Beau Brett hit a grand slam and had five RBIs for the Saxons (11-5).

Elsewhere, Dan Jordan went 3 for 3 with two runs for University (14-2) as it defeated visiting Lewis and Clark 11-6. Don Santos homered for the Tigers (4-14) in the loss. … Seth Peterson went 2 for 2 with two RBIs for Mead (15-1) as it defeated host Gonzaga Prep 7-6. Anthony Via was 2 for 4 with an RBI for the Bullpups (8-8). … Nic Fowler threw a complete game, striking out nine, to lead Mt. Spokane to a 14-4 victory over host North Central (5-11). Jeremy Carey had two hits and two RBIs for the Wildcats (9-9). … Danny Turner and Taylor Raynor each had two RBIs to lead Shadle Park (6-10) to a 7-3 win at East Valley (3-13).

“Terry Conklin and Kyle Fox threw back-to-back complete-game shutouts for Clarkston (10-6, 6-4) as it swept a Great Northern League doubleheader against visiting Pullman (8-4, 6-4), 3-0 and 1-0. Jaron Jenkins and Isaac Woodbury each had an RBI on the day for the Bantams.

Alex Cey and Stephanie Parker each had two hits for the Panthers (12-4). … Stacey Hamer had four hits and Nicole Romasko and Tiffany Arnold each had three hits as Gonzaga Prep (5-10) posted a 21-12 win over host East Valley. Ryleigh Riggin had a three-run homer for the Knights (3-12). … Alyssa Erickson pitched a complete game, striking out seven, and drove in five runs as Central Valley notched an 18-2 win over host Mt. Spokane (7-9). Chrystal Holt and Stefanie Siddoway combined for five hits and seven RBIs for the Bears (11-5).
