Kimberly Kolbet exchanged wedding vows with Michael Gortsema in a Sept. 29 ceremony at the Gonzaga University student chapel.

The bride is the daughter of Barbara Kolbet, Spokane. Richard and Nadine Gortsema, Spokane, are the parents of the groom.

A reception was held at Cataldo Hall at Gonzaga University. The couple are living in Spokane after a honeymoon in Cancun, Mexico.

A graduate of GU, the bride works as a special education teacher for Spokane Public Schools. The groom is a custom auto painter for Extreme Customs in Otis Orchards.
