ID: Self taught musicians in Yvonne Archer and Alutra have been playing music together in some capacity for the past 13 years.

Style: Cerebral electronic-folk-pop

“Our music is a fusion of sounds and ideas, often mixing live sources with electronic ones, using natural and artificial sound,” Archer said.

Roster: Vocalist and acoustic guitarist Yvonne Archer and bassist, drummer, keyboardist and electric guitarist Jeremiah Johnson.

Recordings: “We are currently working on a double album… possibly a hot-cold type of thing were the first album makes your blood hot and you feel like dancing, while the other one wraps you in a blanket and sooths all of your wounds…” Archer said.

Live performance: “At this moment in time I am playing shows solo, but our real work in progress is to have a full production show with drums, keyboards, bass, etc. People can get a better idea of the kind of music that we do if they check out our MySpace page, (www.myspace. com/yvonnearcher) but the solo shows with just me and my guitar are pretty fun, too,” Archer said.

Next gig: Thursday at 8 p.m. at Caterina Winery, 905 N. Washington St., with Fingersmith, and The Blue Ribbon Tea Company. Cover is $5. All ages welcome.
