Mets 7, Braves 3: At New York, Carlos Delgado hit a go-ahead double in a five-run eighth inning to help the Mets rally past Atlanta. The Braves, who led 3-2 in the bottom of the eighth, have not won a one-run road game since Aug. 9, 2007.

Phillies 5, Nationals 4: At Philadelphia, Jayson Werth hit a tiebreaking solo homer in the eighth and the Phillies handed Washington its 11th straight loss. It’s the Nats’ longest skid since losing 11 straight in 1991 when they were the Montreal Expos.

Cubs 5, Reds 0: At Chicago, Rich Harden allowed two hits in seven innings, struck out 10 and bunted in the go-ahead run for his first career RBI, leading the Cubs past Cincinnati.

Astros 5, Brewers 2: At Milwaukee, Geoff Blum hit a tiebreaking three-run homer in the sixth off Ben Sheets to lead Houston over the Brewers.

Pirates 4, Cardinals 1: At St. Louis, Ian Snell threw seven scoreless innings and T.J. Beam became the seventh Pirate to earn a save this season as Pittsburgh beat the Cardinals.

Diamondbacks 7, Padres 6: At Phoenix, Adam Dunn homered to tie Ryan Howard for the league lead with 33 and Arizona held off San Diego.

Marlins 6, Giants 0: At San Francisco, Ricky Nolasco pitched a two-hitter for his first career shutout and drove in two runs with his first double to lead Florida past the Giants.

Rockies 8. Dodgers 3: At Los Angeles, Ian Stewart homered and drove in five runs to help Colorado knock the Dodgers out of the West Division lead.
