Israel had provocation

I found your headline “Israelis strike Gaza as truce ends” (Dec. 21) to be biased and a misstatement of the facts. It’s headlines such as this that show your anti-Israel bias.

If the reader took the time to actually read the article or read it from other news sources, they’d find it was retaliation for the Palestinians firing rockets and mortars into Israel. Why not a headline “Israel retaliates for rockets and mortars” or some such thing?
