Wedding: Halvorson-Majumder

Wedding vows were exchanged by Urmi Majumder and Erik Halvorson in an Aug. 25 ceremony at St. George’s School.

Upal and Sujata Mazumder, Kolkata, India, are parents of the bride. The groom is the son of Ron and Donna Halvorson, Spokane.

A reception at the Davenport House at St. George’s School followed the ceremony. The couple are living in Durham, N.C., and planned to take a honeymoon to Hawaii in March.

The bride is a graduate of the Indian Institute of Technology in Kharagpur, India. The groom is a graduate of the Rose-Hulman Institute of Technology in Terre Haute, Ind. The bride and groom are graduate students at Duke University.
