Summers, Wallace lead Georgetown to rout

DaJuan Summers had 15 points and nine rebounds, Jonathan Wallace reached a pair of milestones in a 19-point effort and No. 8 Georgetown closed out its non-conference schedule with an 82-55 victory against Fordham on Monday at Washington.

Wallace became the Hoyas’ career leader in 3-pointers made, breaking the record of 189, and the 39th player in Georgetown (10-1) history to reach 1,000 career points.

Marcus Stout led Fordham (6-6) with 27 points and Bryant Dunston added 20 points and 16 rebounds.

(12) Texas A&M 68, Rice 41: At College Station, Texas, Josh Carter and DeAndre Jordan scored 16 points apiece, and the Aggies (13-1) beat the Owls (3-8) for a sixth straight win.

(15) Vanderbilt 97, Iona 73: At Nashville, Tenn., the Commodores (13-0) got out to the best start in school history, beating the Gaels (5-9) behind A.J. Ogilvy’s 20 points and nine rebounds.
