Auditions
“Oedipus the King” – Spokane Falls Community College winter production, Friday, 4 p.m. at the SFCC Playhouse, 3410 W. Fort George Wright Drive. Needed: children ages 8-12, under 5 feet tall. Spokane Symphony Chorale – Sopranos and tenors are needed for the group that performs with the Spokane Symphony. Auditions will be Monday; auditioners should prepare a solo and be prepared to perform a passage from either the Verdi or Brahms “Requiem.” An accompanist will be provided. 2008 Twining Humber Award – Artist Trust is seeking nominations for the annual award for lifetime artistic achievement by female Washington state artists age 60 or older. The deadline is Jan. 25.
